I mean I can't really blame it for keeping silent. I'd be pretty peeved if my murder plan failed, and then was slowly starved to death by the one I tried to kill.

Rig's question intrigues me. "I wonder, Deadwood. Which title was it that you were first called? A savior, or a demon?" Rig has just become a demon, and now, she's a savior, protecting animals from Deadwood. And her plans at the moment seem to be to remain benevolent. But will that change as time comes to pass?

That's a reasonably good ending. If I had to be a demon I'd try to be that kind of one.

I'd be really sad if this is about the end and she'll end in this state.

@gentlechaos Well nothing keeping you from writing a fan fiction where Deadwood's heart grows three sizes and he stops being horrible.

Did he kill the rabbit? There's blood on his antlers on one side but that seems like a really inconvenient way for a deer to attack a ground creature that is closer to his hoof.

@Blue Umbreon: Very true! But antlers were more convenient for the shot, haha. Or maybe he just impaled the rabbit to make it easier to carry, since realistically it's also probably not sharp enough to skewer a rabbit.

Eis serving Rig [food] was something I expected awhile ago, just minus the food part. I guess when he dies she'll have no meals?

I love this twist with Rig feeding off of the hare. Its just what Fen feared, but somehow, that amuses me, heh.

Also, very pleased to see Rig taunt Deadwood even the tiniest bit. I didn't have much against Deadwood, but I know how smug Rig must feel, hue.
